COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Walterboro Public Safety Department is looking for a suspect after a woman says she was raped and held against her will at a hotel Monday night.

Authorities say a 22-year-old woman told investigators that she was sexually assaulted by 26-year-old Henry Rashawn Campbell, the father of her children, at the Rice Planters Inn on 97 Ladson Street.

The woman said Campbell choked and struck her following an argument. An incident report states during the assault, Campbell removed the victim's clothing and began to sexually assault her.

According to the victim, Campbell held her against her will and did not allow her to leave until the next morning when he left.

Campbell is facing charges of criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
