Four people rescued after boat capsized near Johns Island

JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The U.S. Coast Guard responded to a boat in distress in Bohicket Creek near Johns Island Wednesday evening after it started taking on water.
Officials say it happened around 7 p.m. near Cherry Point boat landing.
According to rescue crews, the boat started taking on water and capsized. Officials say four people were on the boat at the time of the incident and were brought to shore with no injuries.
