NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A man wanted by the state of New Jersey for charges of aggravated sexual assault, endangering and child abuse was captured in North Charleston Thursday morning after US Marshals received information on his location, officials say.

Drew Mckelvey, 40, of Ladson, was arrested without incident by US Marshals in the 5900 block of Rivers Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

A warrant for a full extradition from Hudson County SHeriff's Office was confirmed, and Mckelvey was transported to the Charleston County Detention Center.

North Charleston police say Mckelvey also had an active warrant for criminal sexual conduct.
