NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a 54-year-old man who was wanted for 16 counts of forgery has repaid the money from checks he allegedly forged.
North Charleston Police were looking for 54-year-old Michael Kenneth Moore.
Detectives say Moore forged checks belonging to two elderly people, ages 88 and 92. Authorities say the phony checks were for more than $2,000.
Investigators say the elderly victims allowed Moore to stay with them until he found a job.
