North Charleston firefighters are still trying to figure out what caused a fire early Tuesday morning on Ruff Road.
Firefighters do know that it started in Lowcountry Linen then spread to Meridian Automation and Communications. The Threshold Theater Workshop and Paul Cathy contractors also had minor damage.
Authorities say the fire started just after midnight. It took more than an hour to contain the fire which was out by 3 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple explosions during the fire.
