Authorities investigating double shooting in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County deputies are investigating an overnight shooting that left two people injured.

According to a release, deputies were called out to a shooting at Ham Grants, also known as Georges, on Scott White Road in Hollywood around 12:45 a.m.

Deputies say an altercation started inside the club that led to one person being shot. As the owner was trying to break up the fight, deputies say he was shot in the elbow.

The release states neither of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

Detectives are now working to figure out who fired the shots.
