CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 24-year-old man accused of shooting two men at a club in Hollywood.

Investigators arrested Davon Williams during a traffic stop on Savannah Highway Wednesday afternoon.

Williams has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a crime and first-degree assault.

According to an affidavit, on Oct. 17, Williams and 26-year-old Kenneth Letroy Anderson were involved in a physical confrontation inside the Ham Grants club on 5770 Scott White Road.

Authorities say during the assault, Williams pulled out a gun and shot Anderson in the torso area.

Court records state that Williams also shot the owner of the club, who was attempting to stop the fight, in the left arm.

Anderson was on trespass notice and was not supposed to be at the club, according to the club owner.  Charleston police were sent to MUSC to take Anderson into custody. Anderson was charged with third-degree assault and battery.
