CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say four women were arrested Wednesday after beating a female victim in the parking lot of a West Ashley apartment complex, and then slashing her tires.

Symone Wilson, 21, Yasmin Wilson, 22, Shayla Wilson, 22, and Ashley Wilson, 25, have been charged with assault and battery high and aggravated nature.

According to an incident report, two vehicles followed the victim to her apartment at Orleans Garden Apartments around 12:45 a.m. When the cars parked, five female suspects got out of the cars and began yelling at the suspect.

Police say the victim tried to walk to her apartment, but the suspects followed. When the victim walked back to her car, she was attacked by Yasmin Wilson.

The report states the four other suspects jumped in to punch, kick, and pull the victim's hair. After the beating, the victim noticed she had multiple lacerations from a knife on her face, head, shoulders and chest.

The victim told police Yasmin Wilson slashed all four of her tires as the suspects fled the scene.

The victim was then transported to Roper Saint Francis by a neighbor, the report states.

Officers say three of the suspects were arrested after a vehicle matching the description of one of the getaway cars was stopped by police. The two other suspects went to MUSC for injuries sustained in the fight.

The fifth suspect was not listed in the incident report. It is also unknown if the suspects are related.
