NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says they are searching for two suspects after a N. Charleston homeowner was shot and killed in an apparent home invasion Wednesday night.

Charleston County deputies were called to an apartment in the 7400 block of Tedder Street just before 9:30 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fire.

According to an incident report, witnesses at the scene told police two armed suspects entered the victim's apartment and shot the victim, who died at the scene.

The Charleston County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Dominique Ladson. His cause of death is the result of a gunshot wound.

Authorities have not yet provided a description of the two suspects.

The incident is under investigation.
