Fire sprinkler snuffs out flames inside MUSC women's bathroom

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a fire inside a women's bathroom at the Medical University of South Carolina Wednesday night was extinguished in large part thanks to the hospitals fire sprinkler system.

Charleston firefighters arrived within four mintues of receiving the call to find the flames were substantially extinguished by the fire sprinkler system in the restroom, the release state.
