GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has charged two teenagers for a shooting that sent two people to the hospital.

Investigators charged 17-year-old Malik Kyle Taylor with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. The sheriff's office says Taylor is currently locked up at the Georgetown County Detention Center on unrelated charges.

Authorities also charged 17-year-old Reginal Denzel Manigault with accessory after the fact of a felony. Manigault turned himself in to deputies on Monday.

The teens' arrest stems from an incident on Sept. 21 at 1 a.m. when deputies responded to a report of gunshots being heard on Enterprise Street in Georgetown.

Responding deputies were told that two victims had arrived at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
