CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - With Christmas quickly approaching, there is no better time to get in the holiday spirit!
Several parades are scheduled to take place around the Lowcountry this weekend.
Head down to the Charleston Harbor Saturday for the Annual Parade of Boats. This parade, which begins at 5 p.m., will feature tons a boats decked out in holiday gear.
If a land based parade is more up your alley, the City of North Charleston will hold its annual parade around Park Circle tomorrow. The action will get underway at 5 p.m.
On Sunday, floats will take to the streets beginning at 2 p.m. in Historic Downtown Summerville as part of a Christmas parade.
And finally, the Annual Mt. Pleasant Light Parade is set for Sunday evening. The event will begin with a tree lighting at Moultrie Middle School at 5:30 p.m., followed by a parade down Coleman Boulevard.
