Coroner identifies woman killed in auto pedestrian accident in N. Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified a 44-year-old woman who was killed following an accident in North Charleston Tuesday night.

Authorities say Donna Hudson of North Charleston died from blunt force trauma.

Officials with the North Charleston Police Department say they are continuing to investigate the accident that happened on Stall Road.

According to police, the driver of a Dodge pickup truck was traveling west on Stall Road and was struck from a the right side by the driver of a Land Rover SUV in the area of North Kenwood Street.

A police report states the collision resulted in a female pedestrian being struck by the pickup truck.

Authorities had shut down Stall Road for several hours as crews responded to the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate.
