Charleston Police say a man with a knife tried to steal two containers of laundry detergent from a pharmacy.

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County deputies are looking for the man who they say robbed a James Island pizza restaurant Tuesday night.

Deputies say around 8:20pm they were called out to the Domino's Pizza on Folly Road for reports of an armed robbery. Investigators were told that a man entered the store with a shot gun, demanding money from the clerk. Deputies say the suspect then opened the register and took $30-$50 in cash.

Witness say as the suspect was fleeing from Domino's, he robbed another victim in the parking lot, taking about $30 in cash. The suspect then took off on foot and ran behind the BB&T Bank on Folly Road.

Charleston County Sheriff's K9 Unit was called out to the scene in an attempt to track the suspect; however, they were unable to find him.

According to witnesses, the suspect is described as a black male,  5'4"-5'7", stocky build. He was wearing a olive color zip jump suit, a black ski mask and some type of ball cap under the mask.
