CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department is on the lookout for a vehicle which investigators say may have been involved in two hit-and-run incidents.

Investigators say they are searching for a 2004-2010 urbane moss metallic Chevrolet Cobalt which sustained damage to the right side view mirror area.

Police say on Dec. 5 at 7:03 p.m., a hit-and-run traffic collision took place on Clayton Drive near Arlington Drive in West Ashley that resulted in significant injuries to a pedestrian.

According to authorities, the vehicle fled the area following the incident. Police say they were able to locate part of the vehicle on the scene.

According to police, they believe the vehicle may have been involved in an earlier hit-and-run on Savannah Highway near Orleans Road.

In that incident, authorities say the vehicle sustained damage to the left front quarter panel area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator O. Fabisiewicz at (843) 965-4084 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
