SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say an incident that took the life of a motorcyclist was not a hit-and-run as originally reported by investigators.
SCHP released a statement Thursday night regarding a Dec. 10 incident on Dorchester Road and Lincoln Boulevard near Summerville where investigators stated they believed an accident that killed a 51-year-old man was a hit-and-run.

The incident is now being investigated as a single motorcycle accident.
