GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - A citizen complaint led to the discovery of a methamphetamine lab in Goose Creek on Monday.
The Goose Creek Police Department says officers responded to 433 Anita Drive acting on a citizen complaint.
Officers say they spoke to the resident of the reported home and obtained consent to enter the residence.
According to a police report, officers found evidence of a meth lab. A search warrant was then obtained resulting in the discovery of a meth lab.
Police arrested 29-year-old David Howell and 24-year-old Ashley Gallimore, who both live at the home. The two have been charged with manufacture, distribution of methamphetamine, possession of less than 1 gram of meth, and disposal of methamphetamine waste.
Additionally, Howell was charged with criminal conspiracy.
Investigators from the Charleston office of the Drug Enforcement Administration responded to the scene.
A clean-up crew was also called to collect materials for disposal.
