NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston County Coroner's Office say a 57-year-old woman who was shot in a drive-by shooting in 2013 has died of her injuries.

Authorities say Roslin Fyall died from a gunshot wound on July 4 at MUSC.

The shooting took place just after 10 a.m. on Dec. 17, 2013 along the 1800 block of Grayson Avenue.

Once on the scene, officers found a woman laying on the ground with injuries to her head.

A witness at the scene told officers a front seat passenger in a maroon or dark red Ford Crown Victoria held a gun over the top of the car and fired shots in their direction when they passed by.

The witness told police the vehicle continued down the street towards Spruill Avenue.

Police say the victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was in critical condition.
