CPD: Suspect who spent over $1,500 on stolen credit card identified

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say they are searching for a man who used a stolen credit card to make over $1,500 in fraudulent purchases.
According to an incident report, the victim's Capital One credit card was stolen from her office at 1101 Remount Road in North Charleston on September 23.
Police say the suspect, recently identified as 35-year-old Desray Gallashaw, made $1,517.51 in fraudulent purchases with the card, including $405.95 at a King Street Food Lion and $305.95 at a King Street CVS.
Gallashaw is wanted for six counts of financial transaction fraud, and a sex offender registry violation. His last known address is 1438 Fort Johnson Road.
