Emergency crews take out structure fire on Daniel Island

DANIEL ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Emergency crews have put out a fire in the area of the 2400 block of Clements Ferry Road on Daniel Island.
Authorities had shut down the road as crews responded to the fire on Heidie Lane off Clements Ferry Road Wednesday afternoon.
Police officials say the fire involved an abandoned building.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
