SCHP: Injuries involved after deputy attempts U-Turn in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say there were minor injuries involved after a deputy's cruiser crashed into another car in Summerville Monday evening.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol officials, a Berkeley County Sheriff's deputy was attempting a U-turn on Jedburg Road when it collided with another car.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says the deputy suffered minor injuries.

There were reportedly three people in the other vehicle.

SCHP says the deputy was determined to be at fault.
