BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County investigators say they have identified and located juveniles suspected of throwing a Molotov cocktail into a vacant home in Ladson Thursday afternoon.

According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, the juveniles, between the ages of 10 and 12, placed what appeared to be fire crackers into an empty bottle and threw it through the back window of a vacant home on 4431 Farmwood Street in the Woodside community.

The suspected juveniles then took off on foot.

Investigators say they were able to identify and locate some of the juveniles who were responsible for the incident.

According to the sheriff's office, the device caused minor damage to the home.

Witnesses had reported seeing several young males running from the area near the home.

Firefighters also responded to the scene and roped the home off.

The sheriff's office is continuing the investigation.
