Boeing taking applications for training classes

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Boeing is taking part in a Pre-Hire Opportunity Program for entry-level positions.
The aircraft manufacturing company is teaming up with SC Technical College System and readySC to provide training opportunities in assembly and fabrication. Applicants will be signing on to help build the 787 Dreamliner.
Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a drug screening and background check, and be available to work any shift.
Officials are also looking for applicants with one year of manufacturing experience. If you do not have that experience, there may be additional assessments to test mechanical and tool capabilities.
