CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department will hold an informal get together next week to discuss issues and build relationships with the public.
"Coffee with a Cop" will be held January 22 at 8 a.m. at Chick-filA on Savannah Highway. The event will provide the community with the opportunity to ask law enforcement questions in relaxed environment.
"When police officers and citizens come together trust develops, partnerships form, and we all win," said Charleston Police Chief Gregory Mullen in a statement.
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative which works to improve relationships between police officers and community members.
