BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County Sheriff's Office officials say they are searching for a man following a high speed chase in Ridgeville.
Authorities say the incident started when deputies were serving bench warrants in the area.
According to investigators, a man then fled the area in a car, and a high speed chase started.
Deputies say the chase ended in the area of Mudville Road where the suspect got out of the car and ran off.
The sheriff's office has also called in a helicopter to assist in the search.
