MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - The Mt. Pleasant Police Department says a man reported missing over the weekend has been found safe.

Twenty-four-year-old Justin Addlesberger was located in Jacksonville, Florida on Friday. Police would not release details about the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

An incident report released by the Baker County Sheriff's Office Monday morning states a deputy got out with a suspicious person at a gas station near Interstate 10.

The report states Addlesberger was run through the National Crime Information Computer and he came back as a missing person from South Carolina.

According to the report, the Mount Pleasant Police Department and Addlesberger family were notified.

The report states his family made arrangements  pick him up.

The report did not state why Addlesberger left South Carolina or why he was in Florida.
