People who live in the Charleston County School District have a chance to vote on next year's school calendar.
The district has created an online voting system that allows people to vote on two different calendar options for the 2014-2015 school year.
The two options are listed on a district survey as "Calendar A" and "Calendar B."
In Calendar A, school would start Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014. The district's Thanksgiving break would be Wednesday, Nov. 26 through Friday, Nov. 28.
In Calendar B, the first day of school is two days earlier, on Monday, Aug. 18. However, Thanksgiving break would be Monday through Friday, Nov. 24 though Nov. 28.
The survey is available on the Charleston County School District's website until Feb. 14. Participants also have an option to make suggestions or comments about the 2014-2015 school calendar.
