Authorities say a man has been arrested after boasting on Facebook that law enforcement wouldn't capture him.
29-year-old Kevin Russell was apprehended by the US Marshal Task Force, and Berkeley County Sheriff's Office Thursday morning on Freemount Road in Summerville. Russell is being charged with two counts of second-offense criminal domestic violence, resisting arrest, and giving false info to police.
The report says Russell has an extensive history of violence, including an armed robbery and an attempted murder.
The report says the US Marshal Task Force surrounded his trailer on Freemount Road and ordered Russell to come to the door. Russell first hesitated but then complied, according to the report.
While at the warrants office, the report says a deputy doing paper work on Russell noticed he was methodically attempting to slip out of his handcuffs. Russell's attempt to break free was thwarted after an officer sat on Russell until the paper work was finished.
Russell's bond hearing is set for Friday at 9:00 a.m.
