Coroner identifies victim in fatal Berkeley Co. wreck

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers say one person is dead following an early Saturday morning car accident in Berkeley County.

According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, 35-year-old Tiffany Williams of Summerville was driving on Old Dairy Road around 2:15 a.m. when she drove off the right side of the road and hit a culvert.

Salisbury says Williams died from full body blunt force trauma, and her death has been ruled accidental.

Williams was not wearing a seatbelt, officials say.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigated the accident.
