Darius Rucker helps fellow country music star after tour bus crash
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Darius Rucker's True Believers Tour has stopped in North Charleston for its Thursday night concert, but it's been a bumpy road getting there.
David Nail, who is one of Rucker's opening acts, was involved in a tour bus accident last Friday while on the way to one of the tour's concerts in Albany, New York.
Nail told Country Weekly Magazine the icy conditions of New York's roads caused the bus to slide "out of control".
Nail says the bus stopped after hitting the median and there were no injuries.
To make sure everyone made it on stage, Charleston-native Darius Rucker had his tour bus pull over to pick up Nail and his band.
The True Believers Tour continues Thursday night at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Tickets are still available until show time at www.northcharlestoncoliseumpac.com.
