COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators say one person is dead and another is seriously injured following a shooting in Colleton County Friday night.

Officials with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office say several people and multiple weapons were involved in the incident.

The second victim was taken to the Trauma unit of the Medical University of South Carolina after suffering gunshot wounds to the face, according to officials.
