NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - He was gunned down one year ago today at a North Charleston apartment complex, and tonight it's still a murder mystery.

Who killed 25-year-old Antonio McCullough? His case has gone cold.

McCullough's mom is convinced someone knows who did it, but is afraid to come forward. She wants an arrest and closure for the family.

North Charleston police say the murder happened on March 20 of last year. According to investigators, McCullough was visiting an acquaintance at Collins Park Villas off Dorchester Road.

Witnesses told officers they saw two suspects coming from the end of Wales Court and began shooting at McCullough. McCullough ran for cover under a pickup truck, but it was too late.

He died from a gunshot wound. The shooters were never identified.

Police say they have no new leads in McCullough's murder, but are still working the case.
