SCE&G secures downtown gas leak

SCE&G has secured a gas leak that temporarily shut down a portion of Anson Street, authorities say.
The Charleston Fire Department briefly shut down Anson Street between Pinckney and Hassell Streets amid reports of a possible gas leak in the area.
The fire department tweeted at 12:20 p.m. that the leak had been secured and it planned to reopen Anson Street within a few minutes.
