Fitness guru Michaels cancels North Charleston appearance

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - If you were hoping to burn some calories with celebrity fitness instructor Jillian Michaels, you'll have to wait a while.

Michaels' "Maximize Your Life" show, which was scheduled for Saturday at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, has been canceled.

Michaels' reps say the workout guru had to cancel because of illness, but that the appearance will be rescheduled for a later date.

Ticket-holders will be able to receive a full refund starting Monday at 10 a.m. at the ticket holder's point of purchase, according to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center website.
