A Lowcountry woman is proving beauty and glamour can come in all forms.

Jarea Anderson is raising money to go to the Ms. Wheelchair USA Pageant this summer. She was selected to represent the state.

On Wednesday, she met with Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling, where she works at the Goodwill store in Bluffton.

Anderson was 7-years-old when a drunk driver struck her family's car. Five of her family members were killed in that crash.

The Ms. Wheelchair USA Pageant will be held in July in Ohio.
