Police respond to grocery store armed robbery

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police say the BI-LO grocery store in West Ashley was robbed early Thursday morning by two men.
The two robbers entered the store at 6:19 a.m., and one of them was armed with a handgun, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.
The pair left with an undisclosed amount of money, Francis said.
No injuries were reported in the incident and no arrests have been made.
The investigation is continuing.
