Police say suspicious package in West Ashley was empty briefcase

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston Police Department say a suspicious package in West Ashley Tuesday night was an empty briefcase.
Authorities say the incident was in the area of St. Theresa Drive.
Officers had shut down traffic in the area of Theresa Drive behind Blessed Sacrament as crews investigated.
