Armed robbery suspects crash into home after carjacking in N. Charleston

North Charleston police say one suspect has been arrested and another is sought after a gas station armed robbery led to a slew of other crimes early Monday morning.
Investigators arrested Keyon White at a home on Napoleon Drive on Monday. White was arrested on multiple charges including two counts of armed robbery, two counts of first-degree assault and battery and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
On Sunday at 11:30 p.m., police responded to the Circle K on 3855 W. Montague Ave. for a robbery.
Officers found the clerk, who had a wound to the side of her head, locked in the manager's office. The victim said she intentionally locked herself in the office after an armed robbery where she was assaulted.
According to the victim, one of the two suspects in the armed robbery struck her in the head with a black and silver pistol.
Store officials say the suspects took money and an undetermined amount of Newport cigarettes.
The suspects then made their way to the BB&T ATM on 5010 Dorchester Road where they came across a Georgia man in his car.The man said he was pistol-whipped on the head by one of the suspects.
According to investigators, the suspects took money that the victim had withdrawn from the ATM, then fled in the victim's car.
Officers say the suspects then crashed the vehicle at a home on Westview Avenue, and fled on foot.
Authorities say during the investigation, Keyon White was identified as one of the suspect and arrested at a home on Napoleon Drive. A police report states White confessed to the crimes.
Investigators are working to identify and charge the second suspect.
