CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - For college graduates, Charleston is one of the top places to be in America, according to a survey conducted by Mylife.com.

The Holy City ranked near the top among 189 midsized American cities in the survey based on a total score of multiple categories that included the percentage of residents between 25-34 years of age, the percentage of people that age with a bachelor's degree or higher, the average price of rent, the percentage of unemployment and the number of bars and restaurants per capita, according to the site.

The survey's authors reported Charleston came in the top 15 in three categories, scoring sixth place in the category of per capita bars and restaurants.

Columbia ranked in 13th place in the survey, beating Charleston only in the bars and restaurants category.

Savannah ranked 47th in the survey.

North Charleston came in at 110th place, the site reported.
