Police searching for man in soap products theft

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police are searching for a man they say forcibly entered a store and stole numerous soap products.

Surveillance stills indicate the theft occurred at 4:37 a.m. on Friday at the Family Dollar on King Street.

Anyone with information about the theft or the identity of the person pictured in the stills should call Consolidated Dispatch at (843) 743-7200 and ask for the on-call Charleston Police detective, or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
