WEST ASHLEY SC (WCSC) - Mount Pleasant authorities are searching for a man they say used a stolen credit card at West Ashley businesses.

The suspect, seen in surveillance stills, purchased a pair of sunglasses from a store at Citadel Mall with a stolen credit card, police say.

That same card was also used at a West Ashley restaurant and at a video rental kiosk, police say.

Police say the card was stolen on Aug. 20 from a Jeep Wrangler parked outside a home in the Ion subdivision. The man is wanted in connection with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and FTC fraud, police say.

Anyone able to identify the person in the surveillance images should call the Mount Pleasant Criminal Investigations Bureau at (843) 884-4176 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111.
