GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Berkeley County Coroner's Office say one person has died following a wreck in Goose Creek.
Officials say a Lincoln Town Car was struck by another vehicle on St. James Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
The passenger of the Lincoln, 70-year-old John Harkins of Ridgeville, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after 1:00 p.m., according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury.
The accident is being investigated by the coroner's office and the Goose Creek Police Department.
Harkins' death is being ruled accidental with the cause of death as head and body trauma.
