Coroner identifies body found as man reported missing in August

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - The body discovered by landscape workers off Dorchester Road Wednesday morning was a man reported missing in August, according to the Charleston County Coroner's Office.
Leon Willis Horlbeck, 58, was believed to have left his home between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Aug. 21, according to North Charleston Police. Horlbeck suffered from dementia and had last been seen by a family member in the area of Glyn Terrace at 10 a.m., police said.
Landscape workers discovered Horlbeck's body in the wood line shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, NCPD spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
