GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - A report of a couple sleeping in a vehicle in a Goose Creek parking lot led to the discovery of a mobile meth lab, Goose Creek Police say.
Police responded at about 7:40 a.m. to the St. James Avenue Walmart and found a man and woman sleeping in a car, Goose Creek Police Capt. John Grainger said.
Authorities took the pair into custody after verifying the car was a rental that had been reported stolen in Summerville, Grainger said.
Officers searched the vehicle and found equipment for a mobile meth lab, Grainger said.
The DEA task force was notified and responded to the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
