CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - After 42 years behind the grill at "Jack's Cafe" in Downtown Charleston, owner Jack Sewell says he has sold his business and is retiring.

Located on George Street, Jack's has been a long-time favorite of locals and College of Charleston students. Sewell's restaurant will close Friday, October 31st.

While Jack is retiring, he says he expects the new owners to reopen the business under the same name at the beginning of 2015.
