Summerville officer dies days after collapsing during traffic stop

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Summerville Police are mourning the loss of one of their own.
A Summerville Police officer died six days after collapsing during a traffic stop, Summerville Police have confirmed.
Officer Robert Blajszczak, a seven-year veteran of the department died Saturday, according to Summerville Police Capt. Jon Rogers.
Blajszczak collapsed during a traffic stop on Oct. 20, Rogers said.
"Robert was part of our department's Traffic Division and will be sorely missed," Rogers said.
