GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office say deputies confiscated vehicles, guns and drugs at a convicted felon's home.

Investigators charged 35-year-old Leonard Deon Heyward with two charges of distribution of crack cocaine. GCSO officials say Heyward also has pending warrants for dealing crack, heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

On Wednesday morning, authorities executed a search warrant at a home on Exodus Drive in the Plantersville community of Georgetown County.

The search warrant led to the discovery of heroin, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana scales, packaging materials and items related to the production of controlled substances.

Agents also found a loaded .38 revolver under the mattress Heyward was sleeping on. According to the sheriff's office, the weapon was reported stolen out of Williamsburg County.

In addition, investigators also seized a 9mm pistol, a .22 caliber rifle, along with a quantity of ammunition.

Deputies also located a Yamaha motorcycle stolen from Horry County, and seized three other motorcycles along with $704 in cash.
