NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Investigators say one man was shot and another stabbed following an altercation a home in North Charleston.
On Friday afternoon, North Charleston police officers responded to a home on East Montague Avenue for a reported shooting.
When police arrived they found 32-year-old Omar Ricardo Lee on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds to his thigh and buttocks. According to investigators, Lee was in the driveway of the home when 28-year-old Victor Leonard Robinson approached him, and the two began to exchange words.
Police say at some point, Robinson shot Lee and fled; four shell casings and an open lock-blade knife were found at the scene.
A short time later, officers received information regarding a stabbing victim at Nason Medical Center on Rivers Avenue.
CPD officials say the stabbing victim was Robinson who had been stabbed by Lee during the altercation.
In addition, police say an SUV was also damaged in the incident. According to police, a shot struck the right front door of the vehicle.
Robinson and Lee were both charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
