North Charleston police searching for suspect in attempted armed robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - North Charleston police officers say they responded to an attempted robbery that happened just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Officials say it happened at the Kangaroo gas station at 6923 Rivers Avenue.
Police say the clerk said the suspect entered the store armed with a knife demanding money.
Officers say the clerk could not open the register and the suspect left without getting anything.
Officials say they are looking for a black male wearing all black including a black hoodie with a gray scarf over his face.
