Police searching for truck, trailer stolen in North Charleston

Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating an environmental services truck that was stolen from a motel parking lot in North Charleston earlier this month.

According to Crime Stoppers, a 2004 Ford F-350 with an attached trailer parked at a motel on Northwoods Blvd. was stolen the night of January 11. The truck belonged to Environmental Services of Stantonburg, North Carolina.

Officials say the trailer, which was gold in color, contained a large amount of drilling equipment, bring the total value of the stolen property to over $145,000.

An employees credit card was also stolen, which was reportedly used to purchase $430 worth of merchandise in St. Stephens.
